Oceans are an endless source of inspiration. Waves create a dynamic play in the water. They are created by wind, tides, seaquakes, volcanic eruptions, among others, and take on all kinds of dimensions. You take a visual journey through time, where thousands of years of history are vividly reflected in the ever-changing shades of blue. I invite the viewer to witness the power and majesty of nature as manifested in the swirling movements of water, waves and clouds.
My seascapes are a composition of the interplay of lines of sky, water and sand. I capture the movement of the water, along with the reflections of sunlight and the specific time of day. They serve as windows into a world where nature reigns supreme, offering viewers a glimpse of the awe-inspiring beauty that surrounds us. Each image tells a story of resilience and transformation, reminding us of the ever-changing nature of the world and our place in it.

Freedom captures a serene yet dramatic black-and-white seascape. Taken from height overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the early evening, the composition is perfectly divided between the calm, dark water below and a soft, expansive sky above. Two birds in flight—the first blending into the cloud on the upper left, and the second skimming above the ocean in the lower right—add subtle movement and a sense of liberation. The interplay between the stillness of the landscape and the freedom suggested by the birds creates a peaceful, yet slightly unpredictable atmosphere.

The collection Edge of Turbulence is a fascinating seascape taken at the southernmost tip of Italy, where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet at Santa Maria di Leuca, also known as finis terrae “the end of the world.” This striking images highlight the raw beauty of Cape Salento, a place known for its rugged cliffs and unspoiled nature. The balanced composition shows the emerald green to deep blue sea water glistening under sporadic sunlight breaking through the clouds. The stormy weather causes the powerful waves, bathed in white foam, to collide. They create a dramatic and mesmerizing scene that perfectly captures the spirit of pride and resilience.

Bananas Canoe is an authentic and unique portrait of a local citizen in the natural landscape after his early morning outing. Natural Playground is an authentic and unique family happening during breakfast and playing child in the natureal landscape. Both images are authentic, however it appears that they were put in scene. The images are taken at Hermosa Beach, which is a beautiful beach in the province of Guanacaste on the Gulf of Papagayo (Cota Rica). With both I invite you to enjoy the natural scenery in Costa Rica, which is well preserved and to think about how we can better preserve and maintain nature on other places in the world.
