Each image unveils a world of wonder that bear witness to the passage of time. In my photographs, the viewer will be transported to ethereal landscapes where light plays a starring role. Rather than focusing solely on the physical structure , the artwork invites viewers to explore the interplay between light and shadow, revealing new shapes and contours that seem to materialize out of the darkness. Through my sense for composition and mastery of light, I create visual narratives that transcend mere documentation, transporting viewers to a realm where reality blurs with imagination. Each image becomes a portal to a world of mystery and intrigue, where the beauty of nature's hidden wonders is unveiled in breathtaking detail.

Dance of Death I | II

Dance of Death is a fascinating monochromatic photo series set against the dramatic backdrop of the Cango Caves in the Western Cape of South Africa. These caves were meticulously sculpted by nature over millions of years. Rainwater flowed through small cracks in the limestone rock where the limestone dissolved in the water and it flowed out. This created spaces and the minerals were left behind. Through the lens, I present a striking interpretation of the allegory of death, known as the danse macabre. Through the play of light and shadow, these formations resemble dancing skeletons, evoking the inexorable passage of time and the inevitable fate of all living things.

Grotta Bianca

The artwork is the interplay of light and water where the reflection of the vivid blue sea casts an enchanting glow through the space. Grotta Bianca is a picturesque sea cave located along the beautiful coastline of Capri. It takes its name from white deposits of calcareous matter on the sides, and from clusters of white stalactites hanging from the roof and lining the entrance. Through my lens, I take the viewer into a world of natural wonders, where the meeting of sea, light and stone creates a truly fascinating spectacle.

Gender identity

This photo collection captures the mesmerizing beauty of Antelope Canyon in Arizona (US). The stunning geological formation has been carved out by the force of erosion. It displays intricate sandstone textures formed over centuries by floods and underground processes. The bright afternoon sunlight falls perpendicularly through the narrow passages, creating fascinating shades. Formally, sculptures arise as it were referring to the human in various guises called “Gender identity” that adds mystery and intrigue to the scene. Viewers are invited to interpret the abstract beauty of the canyon formations in their own unique way.

Sand source

We take you to the ancient landscapes of Porto Santo, an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The sand bears witness to the relentless forces of nature, formed over thousands of years by the incessant action of the wind. The formations date from the last Ice Age. the sand particles consist mainly of fragments of mollusks and calcareous algae, a legacy of the marine life that once existed here. These images named “Sand source” were captured in afternoon sunlight during autumn, which creates the harsh shadows and consequently adds depth and dimension to the scene. This gives the landscape a mesmerizing visual spectacle, with their intricate textures and contrasts. Each photograph offers a glimpse of timeless beauty, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the ancient rhythms of nature captured in the sands of time.

Silence

These images capture the ethereal beauty of Death Valley in Nevada (US), some of which at sunrise, others in the afternoon. Death Valley is one of the driest, hottest and lowest places in the world. I invite viewers to reflect on the stark beauty and vastness of nature in this valley. Being present in this place makes you silent.

Sahara Waves

In the heart of the Erg Chebbi desert, where time is measured in the undulating patterns of sand, my photographic artwork "Sahara Waves" attempts to capture the ethereal beauty of desert waves on the border of day and night. Before the sun graces the horizon or says goodbye to it, the heartbeat of the desert is reflected in the undulating rhythms of the dunes, a silent symphony composed by the extreme temperatures. The captured moments freeze the dynamic rhythm of the dunes, where each grain becomes a note in the composition and the wind acts as a conductor, shaping the landscape into a breathtaking spectacle of abstract beauty.

Natural Liquids

My photographic series "Natural Liquids" captures the ethereal and mystical essence of Pamukkale’s iconic travertine terraces. By reinterpreting this natural wonder, my work transcends mere documentation, inviting viewers into a contemplative, almost otherworldly experience. The interplay of light and texture in my images emphasizes the fluidity and movement of the mineral-rich waters as they flow over the bright white limestone, creating a visual narrative that is both serene and powerful. Each photograph in the series seems to freeze a moment of transformation, where water, earth, and light converge to form a scene of surreal beauty.

Sculptured Valleys – Valleys of Time

This black and white collection explores Cappadocia's awe-inspiring, otherworldly landscapes. Through this series, I take my viewers on a journey through valleys shaped over 60 million years by volcanic eruptions and erosion, highlighting the region’s distinctive tuff and limestone formations. These natural sculptures, untouched by human hands, evoke a sense of primal power and wonder, revealing the profound beauty of a landscape formed by forces beyond our control. The collection invites viewers to marvel at nature's creativity and endurance, encouraging a deep respect for its majestic forces.
